December Well Child Member Outreach

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that babies have at least six checkups with their primary care provider by the age of 15 months. The AAP also recommends that children aged 2 and older see their doctor annually.

The parents/guardians of eligible members will receive the following:

• Growth chart for ages 1 to 3 months old
• Informational mailer for ages 4 months to 11 years old

All mailings have relevant, age-appropriate information including:

• Recommended vaccine schedule
• Key milestones
• Anticipatory guidance
• How to find a primary care provider
