Childhood Immunization Awareness

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that babies have at least 7 check-ups with their primary care provider by the age of 15 months. The AAP also recommends that children aged 2 and older see their doctor annually. View the tip sheet about patient claims and tips for success.

The parents/guardians of eligible members will receive a chart outlining the timeliness for each recommended vaccination.

All mailings have relevant, age-appropriate information including:

  • Recommended vaccine schedule
  • Anticipatory guidance
  • How to find a primary care provider
