New Availity Enhancements for 2024

Your recent provider survey feedback about the features you’d like to see in the Premera Availity portal match the enhancements we’re targeting in 2024. Availity enhancements planned for 2024 include:

  • Claim attachment – Submit claim attachments online.
  • Claim corrections – Correct claims online.
  • Claim appeals – Appeal claims online, see appeal status, and submit appeals on behalf of a member.

These features will significantly reduce the need for mail, fax, and phone communications, ease the administrative burden on provider office teams, and reduce calls to provider customer service.

We’re currently in the beginning stages, but we’ll have more information as we get closer to launching each feature. If you have any questions about the Availity enhancements, contact your Premera provider representative.
