Premera Cancer Support Coming to Members

Starting January 1, 2026, Premera Cancer Support helps your patients navigate care after a confirmed or suspected cancer diagnosis. Premera Cancer Support is powered by Thyme Care at no cost to Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska members.

Why This Matters

Patients with an eligible Premera health plan can reach a cancer care team online or by phone 24/7. The team helps find in-network oncologists, explain treatment, arrange transportation, and provide support alongside your care. There are no restrictions on cancer types. The resource supports Premera members at every stage of cancer care.

What to Know

Premera members don’t need a referral to access Premera Cancer Support. Eligible patients must meet certain criteria:

• Be 18 or older
• Have a confirmed or suspected cancer diagnosis
• Be covered by a qualifying Premera plan
